I started monday on a whole foods plant based diet! You're videos are keeping me motivated as to why i'm doing this. I already feel like I have more energy than before. I'm doing this to overall be healthier but I also want to lose about 30+lbs. I'm curious as to how long it took before you really started to see changes in your weight/body. I'm not craving meat but I am having a hard time giving up cheese. I've definitely cut back but I was wondering if you had any good substitutes for cheeses. thanks!

People like to say the absorption thing is propaganda for salad dressing companies, but when I upped my fats from 7% to over 15% I had this huge positive shift in digestion and satiation. It no longer felt like food was flying through me and I had more energy on less food. I also learned that your body creates stomach bile from fats and the bile is one way we absorb nutrients so it all made sense. Some people's digestion is poor already so you may need a little more fat to even get what you need out of it. All I know is I was never overweight on a SAD diet but became overweight eating super low fat and then dropped ten pounds when I upped them a bit. And all of this is why you're one of the few vegans I follow on YouTube. You are level headed and have the most logical and relaxed approach to food.

I love this! I have a hard time with fats because I allergic to some variations of avocado and most nuts except peanuts! So on occasions I eat some peanut butter when ever I feel necessary. But the knowledge is amazing thank you xx
