Are you picking up Shadow of War?

KaasSalsa says:

All you people bitching about those microtransactions.
I'd have to admit that microtransactions in a full priced game suck and i won't be spending any more money on the game than i already have. But i'm not letting it ruin the fun of the game.
If you don't like it, then don't buy it and stop bitching.

HELP! …I have a burning question what can i do skillwise to prevent captains from fleeing after i have wittled there health to almost nothing ? I had this on many occasion or they won a QTE even i had them on there knees and they fled its very annoying if you where at the edge of dying yourselfs its a bit to OP at the moment it seems to me. to many flee or start a scene where i get humiliated ?? any suggestion what skills i shall rise to prevent this from happening ? I dont want to play it on the easiest setting but normal should be acievable right? Please let me know if you have a hint for me besides just get Gud.

Lucifer Morningstar says:

For all the people abstaining from this game because of the micro transactions on some matter of principle, I can safely say you're doing nothing but missing out. I bought the standard edition, I was not spending any extra money on an already full price game, and can safely say that the loot boxes were a last minute addition, probably forced onto Monolith by the money grubbing Warner Bro's. I am against the despicable practice of micro transactions as much as the next rational minded person, but in this instance its almost as if monolith stuck the finger up at WB and made their revenue gathering practices obsolete. It is literally a tiny option tacked on at the bottom of the pause menu, that after 5 hours of gameplay I haven't opened once even out of curiosity, let alone the need to. If anything buying loot boxes takes fun from the game, and takes away from the Nemesis System, which is all about exploring the world and coming across random enemies, and having a unique story for just you, where any enemy could become a monster that you actually feel emotions for, whether it be hatred and revenge, or whether you bond with him and make him your second in command. Buying loot boxes is just skipping all that, and taking the fun away.
