Hey guys! Not too long ago researchers at Harvard released a study sharing what they determined to be the “best’ for healthy, faster weight loss. And not to my surprise, the study found that “low carb” was the way to go if you want to lose weight faster. To learn more about why low carb is so effective if you want to lose weight faster as well as my 2 cents on low carb diets in general, check out the video. Enjoy! – Doc

As long as you eat the right amount of everything, you should be fine. It works for me. Half your plate should be fruits and vegetables and you should have proteins, fats and carbohydrates. You need carbs to function proper, and frankly, fat is just unused energy. As long as you exercise and eat proper, you should be fine without a fancy limiting diet.?

Hi there. I'm cranky without carbs so I like to have them but I'd like to eat low carb (but not the lowest). What would you say is the range of grams to stay within for it to be considered low carb??

Soda and Starbucks have too much sugar and fat in their drinks……………
Food should not be bad for you…… processed food has too much fat, salt, sugar and additives in them making them unhealthy. People need to go to their favorite food processors website, click on the CONTACT link and send them an email asking them to reduce the amount of fat, salt, SUGAR and ADDITIVES in the foods they produce. Their common answer is that they are producing what the customers want. You have to let them know that consumers want healthier food choices with less salt, fat, SUGAR and ADDITIVES in them. It only takes a minute to send them an email, tweet, call or text. Food should not be bad for you. There is an obesity epidemic leading to increases in heart disease, high blood pressure and cancer.
Do something — make a difference?

Thank you @DrPhoenyx this video came right on time. I've just completed a boot-camp with a nutrition program. it was very low carb  no salt, no sugar  no fruit and high protein. I just started adding carbs(brown rice, oatmeal, etc). My concern is I'm going to start eating fruit again is there certain fruits I should stay away from that will make me gain my weight back. I lost 22lbs but it was slow and steady which is how I like it because I want it to stay off this was a 3 month program. I want to start drinking green smoothies again I saw your video and you stated green smoothies are good but certain fruits are too much sugar if my goal is weight loss. I probably should gradually add fruit but which fruits.  The veggies I eat is Asparagus, broccoli, spinach, mix greens, etc. But since I have not had any Salt/sugar to my food I'm concern my body will react strange to the new sugar. Not sure if that was a good thing to do but that was what was required on my eating plan. I'm use to it now, but I would like to start eating fruits.  Your advice is appreciated.thank you?

Yes I've tried low carb dieting but was able to keep it for a long time. It was hard for me but it can happen. My bloating was reduced as well. I am actually considering doing it this week. I can last during the day but since I am the primary cook at home it makes it difficult to maintain. I agree it does work.?

Maybe it is rapid, but it's not sustainable long term?
